Tonight, I was reunited with the love of my life, the one man who has ever understood me, the man by which all others are measured, the man who fulfills all of my needs.*
If you have never seen The Solitary Man in concert ... go. Go now. This was my fourth date with Mr. Diamond. He is a showman, and he's still got it.Forever in blue jeans, indeed.
*And no, no I'm not 75 years old. I'm just a child of the 70s. Shut. Up.

Love him!!
ReplyDeleteMeow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Cha Cha!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am SOOOOO jealous you got to see Neil Diamond IN PERSON, LIVE, RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU...
My guess is he probably doesn't do many European dates (I'm sad to say that here in France he's almost unknown...), so my chances of seeing him live are pretty much sub-zero.
But (if I get my act together) I'm going to watch The Jazz Singer tonight!
I am also glad to note he's still looking good...
Cracklin' Neil indeed!
I am so glad you are doing things that are fun and bring you such enjoyment!!!
ReplyDeleteWho am I to question your musical taste? Oh, yeah I am a fat, white, middle aged woman and I am perplexed.
You are so not the only one.
ReplyDeleteThat deep voice, slurp! Sweet Caroline! Cherry!
Oooh--lucky you! His greatest hits is #2 on the Momvan playlist! Team Testosterone knows ALL the lyrics to them.
ReplyDeleteIf I get a chance, I will definitely do it! His songs, his voice..oh, he does move me. Song sung blue....
ReplyDeleteGood for you for getting out to see him!!!
